Created as an ode to the divine creatures of flight who carry our thoughts to the light of the heavens and the depths of the earth.

The most unique trait of moonstones is something called adularescence - the optical phenomenon that causes the extraordinary glow on their surface. The light moves across the gem, creating the visual effect reminiscent of the full moon shining through a veil of thin clouds - hence the crystal’s name.

This breath-taking gem has always been held in very high esteem in the East. In India, it is considered to be a sacred stone - it is believed to have been embedded in the forehead of Ganesh, the four-handed god of the moon.
